Well, well, well. Brenda is in the news again. The ID Chanel is running another special on the case along with the newest news. Both she and James Pavatt are awaiting news on their appeals that could mean a reversal of their death sentences. Read all about it here. Here is Brenda's most recent mug shot from 2017. She looks pretty happy. Got a real Karla Faye Tucker glow to her.

Will TN Teen Murderess, Cyntoia Brown, Ever Go Free?

Image
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A federal appeals court has asked the Tennessee Supreme Court to clarify whether a woman serving a life sentence for killing a man when she was 16 can ever gain parole. The Tennessean reported the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals asked the Tennessee high court Wednesday to weigh in before it issues a ruling in the case of Cyntoia Brown, who argues her life sentence was unconstitutional. An appeals panel heard arguments in June in the case. Molly Jane Roe TN Woman Rapes and Kills 1 yr old

Image
I have written about Molly before. She is from Bell, Tennessee. She plead guilty to the murder of her boyfriend's 17 month old daughter.

While this case had plenty of coverage, I have yet to find one that goes into any detail. I would like to know why she did this and the circumstances leading to the crime. What in the world could make someone do this?

I don't understand the rape of a toddler. Why? Autopsy reports showed bruising and damage to the vaginal area and hips. She had bite marks on her back.

Maleeya Marie Murley died of brain injuries. She had been thrown into a wall and then a table hard enough to deliver fatal brain damage as well as injury to some internal organs.

Molly plead guilty and will be eligible for release after 25 years. She has never spoken about her crime and doesn't answer my letters informing her of the blog.
