Hazel head is a cross between the Lonely Hearts Killer, Martha Beck, and Aileen Wournos, the prostitue killer. She placed ads in lonely hearts columns and waited for rich lonely widowers to come along. She would drain their bank accounts and leave them destitute. She had been married more than 10 times and had been known to use over a dozen aliases when she met Charles Barker. After living with him for a while she began to make his life miserable, but according to Mr. Barkers daughter, he tried to tough it out. Hazel shot Charlie in the back of the head and fled.
