When Alyssa was 15-years-old she beat, strangled and cut the throat of her nine year old neighbor. She wrote about the experience in her diary, describing it ahhh-mazing, then she went to church. She eventually confessed and has been locked away ever since. I received an email from her last month. She asked about what I offered inmates and explained she'd been in the hole and lost much of her personal belongings. Her case was controversial because of her age and the brutality of her actions. I am very excited to begin a correspondence with her. Id like to know what she thinks now as opposed to her frame of mind at the time of the crime and why. Ill keep you posted.
